The global promotion event themed "Vibrant China, Refreshing Fujian" was held in Beijing on Oct 12.

Zhao Long, governor of Fujian province, emphasized Fujian's dedication to preserving its cultural and natural heritage, noting that "Refreshing Fujian" has become a golden brand representing the province’s clear waters and green mountains.

He said Fujian will accelerate its development into a world-renowned tourist destination and foster culture and tourism as a pillar industry. Tourist attractions across the province saw strong visitor growth during the recent National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
