To improve the passenger experience, train routes have been optimized to shorten travel time. Considering the overlapping flow of tourists and commuters in Jiangxi and Fujian provinces during the autumn and winter seasons, China Railway Nanchang Group is closely monitoring passenger demand and increasing the frequency of short-distance services.
Two new bullet trains, D6264 from Jiujiang, Jiangxi province to northern Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province, and D6350 from western Nanchang to Jiujiang city, have been added, providing a higher-density of intercity connections and more frequent departures.

Freight transport has also been upgraded with the launch of the first 120 km/h express freight train service. By analyzing cargo sources and logistics needs, China Railway Nanchang Group has raised the speed of several trains from Huangtang town, Quanzhou to Xionglongchang Railway Station in Chongqing from 80 km/h to 120 km/h, cutting travel time from 46 hours to 34 hours.
This improvement significantly enhances delivery efficiency for time-sensitive goods such as e-commerce items and daily commodities.
Meanwhile, China Railway Nanchang Group is expanding multimodal transport by strengthening links between land and sea routes. A new freight service from northern Ningde, Fujian province to Jinagyin Port in Fuqing has been added.
This combination of railways and ports effectively reduces logistics costs strengthens the inland outreach of coastal ports, and facilitates maritime access for inland enterprises.
