Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, a product from the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, recently became the first Taiwan brand officially recognized as a "Fujian Time-honored Brand".

Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor was also included in the first batch of "Xiamen Time-honored Brands" at the end of 2023.

Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, with its distinctive Kinmen-style aroma, has been produced on Kinmen Island for 73 years. Today, it has become an important ambassador for cross-Strait liquor culture exchange. The brand previously launched a commemorative edition during the cross-Strait water supply project and recently introduced the "fortune and peace brew" incorporating Mazu culture.

In 2004, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor entered the mainland market by establishing its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor (Xiamen) Trading Co Ltd. Since then, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor has become one of the most popular gift for tourists and gatherings among relatives and friends.

In terms of product innovation, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor has adopted a market-oriented approach by collaborating with distributors to develop differentiated products. To rejuvenate the brand, it has actively engaged in a number of cross-sector initiatives. A notable example is the creation of cocktail variations of Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor that appeal to younger consumers.
