On June 25, Secretary Zhou Zuyi met with a delegation headed by Guy Bradley, Chairman of John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited, and Zhang Zhuoping, Chairman of John Swire & Sons (China) Limited, in Fuzhou. 

Noting Swire’s longstanding and successful presence in the Fujian market and Fujian’s efforts to foster a market-oriented, law-based and world-class business environment, Secretary Zhou emphasized Fujian’s openness to Swire’s further investment in air transport, aircraft maintenance and engineering, healthcare, and food sectors. He encouraged Swire to bring in more high-quality projects and welcomed more investment from Hong Kong businesses. 

Underscoring Swire’s ongoing projects in Fujian, Mr. Bradley reaffirmed Swire’s full confidence in the Chinese market and expressed his commitment to scaling up investment and business operations and exploring partnership opportunities in Fujian.  

Vice Governor Li Xinghu also attended the meeting.
