British Ambassador Caroline Wilson Visits Fujian

 

From May 12 to 14, a delegation headed by British Ambassador Caroline Wilson visited Fuzhou and Xiamen.

 

On May 13, Vice Governor Wang Jinfu met with Ambassador Caroline Wilson and her delegation in Fuzhou. Vice Governor Wang recalled the people-to-people exchanges and practical cooperation ranging from trade, investment, and finance to education between the two sides, and expressed the hope for more industrial collaboration, trade and economic exchanges, and friendly interaction between peoples and sister cities. Echoing Wang’s hope for closer ties, Ambassador Wilson called for more partnerships and exchanges in marine economy, new energy industry, youth engagement in technological innovation, and talent training, leveraging mutual strengths for mutual benefits.

 

During her stay in Xiamen, Ambassador Wilson met with Zhuang Rongliang, Vice Mayor of Xiamen, and visited Xiamen University and Xiamen Music School.
