Jacques Biot, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huawei Technologies France and Former President of Ecole Polytechnique, visited Fuzhou and Xiamen from January 31 to February 3. Vice Governor Chang Bin met with him, reaching extensive consensus on boosting cooperation in higher education, scientific and technological innovation, application of research findings, and sustainable development, especially in the context of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China-France diplomatic relations and the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism in 2024.

The former university president held talks with his counterparts from Xiamen University, Minjiang University, Fujian Medical University and Fuzhou University on collaboration.
