Li Lin, Director General of Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, met with Singapore’s Consul General in Xiamen, Nelson Ng Chiun Ming in Fuzhou on April 27.

Li expressed Fujian’s readiness to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, and proposed to deepen cooperation with Singapore in areas such as green transformation, digital economy, connectivity, port logistics, technological innovation, as well as culture and tourism based economy by drawing on Singapore's successful experiences in the MICE industry.

Consul General Ng expressed his appreciation for the invitation to attend the Sixth Digital China Summit. He noted the good foundation, broad space and great potential for further exchanges and cooperation between Singapore and Fujian, and pledged the consulate general’s continued support for more mutually beneficial cooperation across the board.
