Digital summit to spotlight achievements, innovation, and ecosystem growth

The 9th Digital China Summit is being held in Fuzhou, Fujian province, from April 29 to 30. The summit features over 50 dialogue and exchange activities, the Digital China Innovation Contest, and an on-site experience zone, alongside more than 100 special events.

This year's summit focuses on three key areas: showcasing achievements, unveiling new technologies, and fostering a thriving ecosystem.

The event highlights landmark achievements in the development of Digital China with the release of the Digital China Development Report (2025) and the Digital China Development Index. Twelve ministries and agencies, including the National Bureau of Statistics and the Cyberspace Administration of China, present more than 30 major policies, reports, and standards related to the development of the Digital China initiative.

Technological innovation is being spotlighted by nearly 400 companies, including China Southern Power Grid, Alibaba, and ZTE. They are introducing the latest digital technologies in areas such as chips, industry-specific large language models, and embodied intelligence.

More than 100 typical cases of data integration across sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and cultural tourism are being showcased, with over 65 percent of exhibits making their debut.

The prosperity of the digital industry ecosystem is being driven by four ecosystem conferences hosted by China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and Huawei, respectively, focusing on AI subfields. These events gather over 400 enterprises in total to explore collaboration and shared development.

The summit also highlights three key features: digital-intelligence integration, enterprise participation, and application-driven scenarios.
