Eight ultra-long offshore wind turbine blades departed Fuzhou Port's Jiangyin Port Area for Europe on May 14, marking the port's ninth blade shipment this year.
Since its initial export in 2022, the Jiangyin Port Area has handled 2.06 billion yuan ($302.87 million) in total wind turbine blade exports.
The blades are manufactured at the Fujian CTG Offshore Wind Power International Industry Park, located two kilometers from the port. This facility is China's first integrated industrial park for the offshore wind power supply chain, combining turbine main engines, generators, blades, and steel structures.
The park maintains an annual production capacity of wind turbines and key components equivalent to 3 million kilowatts. It houses manufacturing operations for companies including Goldwind, Dongfang Electric, and Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 4.
Operating as China's first carbon-neutral industrial zone, the park has produced offshore wind units with capacities of 10, 13.6, 16, 18, 20, and 26 megawatts, using independent designs and domestic key components, with deliveries to Asia, Europe, and Africa.
Supply chain operations expanded in 2025 when Jiangsu Haili Wind Power Equipment Technology established its Fujian regional headquarters in Fuzhou's Gulou district, focusing on the research, production, and sale of wind equipment components.
