The Siming Intelligent Computing Center has been integrated into China's national computing network, transitioning from a regional hub to a national-level network node. Located in Xiamen Software Park, the center was developed by the Siming District Bureau of Science, Technology, and Information Technology in partnership with China Mobile's Xiamen branch.

The latest data shows Xiamen's total public computing capacity has reached 2,660 PFLOPS, with the center accounting for over 2,200 PFLOPS through self-built and integrated resources.

Powered by high-performance GPUs and AI acceleration cards, the center operates through six functional modules, including a Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) scheduling platform and a data-processing system. These tools support the full development cycle from data storage to model training.

To offset research and development costs, the municipal and district governments provide subsidies covering up to 60 percent of computing expenses. For companies spending at least 50,000 yuan ($7316.88) annually on public AI computing, a supplemental AI voucher program offers an additional 10 percent rebate, capped at 250,000 yuan per firm.

Spanning 12 sectors including healthcare, education, and manufacturing, the facility has deployed 45 application scenarios. It also hosts an AI university innovation alliance, a collaborative platform featuring Xiamen University and Huaqiao University.
