Fujian companies are strengthening their global footprint in advanced manufacturing and healthcare through the strategic introduction of new energy storage and medical technologies to international markets.

The momentum highlights the growing overseas reach of Chinese technology firms, with solutions powering thousands of projects and gaining regulatory traction in a diverse range of new markets.

Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) unveiled its TENER Stack in May 2025, the world's first 9 MWh ultra-large capacity energy storage system solution. The system marks a major leap in energy density, safety, and transport efficiency, allowing for greater power capacity within a smaller footprint. By the end of the first half of 2025, CATL's energy storage solutions had been deployed in more than 2,000 projects worldwide.

Beyond energy storage, Fujian's innovation extends into high-end medical devices. Spectrumedics developed China's first domestically designed coronary intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) system. In August 2024, a team from Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital Xiamen University performed Indonesia's first percutaneous coronary intravascular shockwave balloon angioplasty at Dr Soetomo General Academic Hospital using this technology.

Complementing the hardware push, companies like Nebula are ensuring the long-term reliability and safety of these energy storage systems. At The Battery Show Europe 2025 in Germany, Nebula showcased its latest battery testing and AI-driven safety management solutions, contributing to the safe and sustainable development of the global new energy industry.

From life-saving medical interventions to powering global green transition, Fujian companies are no longer just participants in the global market — they are setting new standards.
