The 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, concluded on Oct 4, with a 77-member technical team from Fujian Media Group providing technical support throughout the Games.

Working alongside China Media Group, the Fujian team provided core technical support and produced common broadcast signals for badminton, marking the group's first overseas operation supporting signal production for a major international sporting event.

For the Games, the team helped plan the QCR technical system, providing technical support for program quality control (PQC) and video quality control (VQC). It also independently tackled the core audio quality control (AQC) project, helping ensure stable audio transmission for the Games' global broadcast signals. The team will continue to provide AQC services for the Asian Para Games.

Over 10 competition days, the Fujian broadcasting team produced common signals for 145 events and seven medal ceremonies, transmitting more than 200 hours of signals covering team competitions and individual finals.

The group also built and operated the Contribution, Distribution, and Transmission (CDT) system at the International Broadcast Centre (IBC), the technical hub for television broadcasting. Using an advanced all-IP architecture and an uncompressed dual-stream primary and backup transmission mechanism, the system enables high-precision, secure, and lossless signal transmission and meets international standards for HD and UHD sports broadcasting.
