Participation from overseas exhibitors expanded to 24 countries and regions, covering major coffee-producing and consuming markets worldwide. These covered well-established coffee origins such as Brazil, Colombia, and Kenya, as well as emerging producers like Tanzania, Rwanda, and Bolivia.

The 2025 XMCF strengthened its role as a vital hub and cooperation platform for the global coffee industry, bringing together numerous internationally recognized institutions.

The fair also featured three coffee competitions, including the 2026 World Siphonist Championship (WSC), and the 2025 China Coffee Cupping Competition. These events showcased the full coffee value chain — from roasting to brewing — positioning Xiamen as China's premier hub for global coffee dialogue.

Innovative consumption models at the fair showcased coffee in various settings, including shopping malls, outdoor areas, leisure venues, and commuting spaces. Held alongside an optics expo and a sports carnival, the fair targeted younger consumers and offered a "coffee and multi-experience" option.
