Israeli Ambassador Visits Fujian

Israeli Ambassador to China, Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, along with Israeli Consul General in Guangzhou, Alex Goldman Shayman, visited Fujian from March 25 to 27.

On March 25, Lin Ruiliang, Vice Governor of Fujian Province met with the delegation. Lin noted Israel’s strengths in science and technology, agriculture, healthcare and new energy, as well as the global impact of its research. He called on both sides to increase cooperation in scientific and technological industries, expand trade and promote exchanges in various areas.

Irit Ben-Abba Vitale commended Fujian’s vibrant economy and growth potential, expressing willingness to support practical and mutually beneficial cooperation in innovation, business, trade, industrial development, culture and tourism between Fujian and Israel.

The delegation also had talks with leaders of Xiamen City and Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and visited local businesses and cultural landmarks.
