Buildings Illuminated for the 200th Anniversary of Costa Rican Independence

Eleven buildings in Fuzhou were lit up with blue, white and red of Costa Rica in celebration of its bicentennial of independence. The lighting event took place in the Straits Financial Business District on the north bank of Minjiang River on September 15.

Since the outbreaks of Covid-19, Fujian and Fuzhou governments have donated medical supplies to Costa Rica in timely assistance of its fight against the virus. The illumination is another witness to the friendship between the two sides, and will lay a good foundation for practical cooperation going forward.
