Upon learning that the performers were American choir members participating in the Bond with Kuliang: 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival, a local resident warmly expressed his wishes: “I hope they enjoy a wonderful cultural experience in Fuzhou and take home cherished memories.”
Following the performance, the BYU Select Singers Choir, the BYU Women's Chorus, and the Jinan Foreign Language School Voices of Love Choir toured the historic district.
At No. 2 Aiguo Road stands a building originally constructed in 1863, which once served as the former U.S. Consulate. Now restored and open to the public as the Yantaishan Museum, the site captured the interest of the American choir members, who eagerly took photos after learning about its historical significance.
