A new service hub in Xiamen, Fujian province, is helping domestic companies expand into overseas markets by combining government services, commercial support, and investment resources into a single platform.
The BRICS Industrial Cooperation and Go Global Comprehensive Service Hub, now in trial operation, integrates public services, professional consulting, smart manufacturing product displays, and BRICS-related business exchanges through an online and offline operating model.
The hub brings together government agencies to provide companies with one-stop administrative support for overseas expansion. According to Wu Bingjie from the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center's project development department, the hub currently offers 71 business-related services, including consultation, application guidance, and administrative assistance.
It is also designed to support cross-border e-commerce companies. Hugo, a cross-border platform serving more than 2.5 million Chinese cross-border e-commerce sellers, has joined the hub to provide services including overseas store setup, international marketing, supply chain management, and connections with service providers.
The hub has also attracted overseas investment promotion agencies. The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) has established its first office on the platform, offering information on investment policies, business opportunities, and market-entry services for companies seeking to enter Brazil.
