Fujian Signs Sister Province Agreement with Romania's Arad County

On November 17, Fujian Province officially twinned with Arad, Romania via video link, making it the 30th sister province of Fujian.

Vice Governor Cui Yonghui and Iustin Cionca, President of Arad County Council, signed the sister province agreement on behalf of both parties. In their speeches, both Cui and Cionca highlighted the solidarity between the two provinces in the face of COVID-19, and pledged to strengthen ties on trade, economy, traditional Chinese medicine, and education, and people-to-people exchanges.

Jiang Yu, Chinese Ambassador to Romania, and representatives of the Romanian Embassy in China also attended the meeting to witness the signing.
