Governor Wang Ning Meets with New Zealand Ambassador

On October 19, Governor Wang Ning met with Clare Fearnley, New Zealand Ambassador to China, in Fuzhou.

Governor Wang noted the longstanding friendship and fruitful cooperation between the two sides in the past, and briefed on Fujian's progress in reviving economic and social development while containing Covid-19. Ambassordar Fearnley congratulated on Fujian's achivements and expressed  hope to advance ties with Fujian. Both exchanged views on ways to step up cooperation and reached common understanding on strengthening practical cooperation in such areas as education, tourism, trade, investment and sister cities, and on  sharing experience in improvnig business environment.

Vice Governor Guo Ningning, Rebekah Mawson, New Zealand Consul General in Guangzhou, and heads of relevant departments of Fujian provincial government attended the meeting.
