Fujian shares experience on COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment with Arad County of Romania

Medical experts in Fujian held a remote video conference with their counterparts in Arad County of Romania, sharing experience of COVID-19 prevention and treatment on April 13, 2020.

The conference was co-organized by Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Fujian Provincial Health Commission and the Provincial Government of Arad County. During the two-hour session, medical teams from Fujian Provincial Hospital introduced their experience and practice on clinical diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19, and answered the questions raised by the Romanian counterparts in details, while the latter exchanged with Fujian side their diagnosis and treatment experience on children and teens with COVID-19.

Fujian and Arad County signed the letter of intent on establishing sister relationship in November 2017. After the COVID-19 broke out, the two sides have expressed support and provided assistance to each other. Apart from online medical experience sharing, Fujian plans to donate face masks to Arad in the coming days.
